The Perry County Unite Coalition has the following committees that you can become a part of:

Neighborhood Watch:This committee will create community watch groups to protect people and their belongings. You will be the eyes and the ears of the community. the coalition will utilize the Operation UNITE office to ensure anonymity of reporting illegal activity.

Court Watch/Judicial Review: This committee will monitor local sentencing and restitution hearings of individuals charged on drug offenses. Volunteers may want to sit in on court hearings and monitor news reports.

Youth Activities: This committee will review local activities that youth are involved in. The coalition may consider sponsoring drug free activities.

Education: This committee will include educators and parents with the intent of building UNITE clubs within the local schools to sponsor and enhance drug free education and school projects.

Medical Advisory: This committee should include physicians, nurses, pharmacists and those involved in medical occupations. This committee will provide accurate information on the drugs of abuse and local medical concerns as well as encouraging the local medical community to utilize KASPER.

Family Support: This committee will reach out to families affected with substance abuse and provide support, referrals, and direction for assistance.

Grant Writing: This committee will be responsible for researching and applying funding sources to enhance coalition efforts.
